Data Processing for Laser Beam Impact Modelling

This paper summarizes the data preprocessing methods used for modelling of laser beam impact. At the beginning, it gives a short overview of physical background of interaction between a laser beam and processed material. Also the input data sets are described and the way of their acquisition is shown, so that the reader could get a good idea of the whole problem. The main content of the paper is formed by description of the data preparation process that consists of several steps -- automatic heat-affected area detection, samples parameterization and their surface approximation. In all cases our methods with the best results are described in a detail. At the end of the paper, our results are summarized, discussed and possible plans for the future research are introduced

Assessing the Synergistic Effects of the Selected Consolidated Entity

Tato diplomová práce je zaměřena na zhodnocení existence synergických efektů u vybraných konsolidujících subjektů v České republice. Práce si klade za cíl pomocí zvolených finančních metrik identifikovat působící synergické efekty u pěti konsolidujících entit operujících v oblasti nemovitostí. Měření a vyhodnocení jsou provedena na základě analýzy účetních výkazů i kvalitativních dat a mají vést ke zhodnocení výskytu synergie v daném oboru národního hospodářství.This diploma thesis is aimed at assessing the existence of synergistic effects of the selected consolidated entities in the Czech Republic. Using specific financial metrics, the objective of this thesis is to identify the synergistic effects which occur among five consolidated entities operating in the area of property. Measurement and evaluation are performed pursuant to analysis of financial statements as well as qualitative data and are supposed to lead to assessing the existence of synergy in given sphere of national economy.

Threats and opportunities in motivating senior workers in education with experience in further education.

The diploma thesis deals with the motivation of managers in the field of further education. The aim of the diploma thesis is to find out how kindergarten principals with practice perceive their own motivation to continue their education, or to identify a certain key critical period during their career as a kindergarten principal. Attention is paid to the characteristics of managers, their motivation, personal development and further education. Issues related to the burnout syndrome, possible factors causining the resigns of a manager, fundamental obstacles in motivation and critical moments of managers in their careers are also elaborated. The thesis includes qualitative research based on personal interviews with educational leaders, which took the form of semi-structured interviews. Qualitative research was chosen on the basis that appropriate methods could be used to achieve the stated aim of the thesis. A research sample was selected and specified for the qualitative research work. The research sample for this thesis was selected as the headmistresses of kindergartens who have long experience in the position, six years or more. The interviews obtained were then analyzed using the coding method. The coding was divided and identified into five main categories to correspond as closely as possible...1 ABSTRAKT Diplomová práce se zabývá motivací vedoucích pracovníků v oblasti dalšího vzdělávání. Cílem diplomové práce je zjistit, jak vnímají ředitelky mateřských škol s dlouholetou praxí svou vlastní motivaci se dále vzdělávat, rozvíjet a identifikovat určitá klíčová či kritická motivační období v průběhu jejich kariéry na pozici ředitelky mateřské školy. Pozornost je věnována charakteristice vedoucích pracovníků, jejich motivaci, osobnímu rozvoji a dalšímu sebevzdělávání. Zpracována je i problematika týkající se syndromu vyhoření, možné faktory způsobující odchod z funkce vedoucího pracovníka, zásadní překážky v motivaci a kritické momenty vedoucích pracovníků v jejich profesní dráze. Součástí diplomové práce je kvalitativní výzkum založený na osobních rozhovorech s vedoucími pracovníky ve školství, které probíhaly formou polostrukturovaných rozhovorů. Kvalitativní výzkum byl zvolen na základě toho, aby bylo možné vhodnými metodami dosáhnout vytyčeného cíle diplomové práce. Pro práci v rámci kvalitativního výzkumu byl vybrán a specifikován výzkumný vzorek. Jako výzkumný vzorek pro tuto diplomovou práci byly vybrány ředitelky mateřských škol, které mají dlouholetou praxi ve funkci, a to šest a více let. Comparison of IFRS and Czech Accounting Legislation in Fixed Assets and Provisions

Tato bakalářská práce je zaměřena na srovnání účetních postupů Mezinárodních standardů účetního výkaznictví a české účetní legislativy. Cílem práce je identifikovat důležité rozdíly v oblasti účtování dlouhodobého hmotného majetku a rezerv a zhodnotit, jaký vliv má používání IFRS na obraz výkonnosti vybrané společnosti. V rámci praktické části práce je posouzeno, zda by byla přínosná konvergence české účetní legislativy s IFRS.This bachelor’s thesis is aimed at accounting procedures comparison of International Financial Reporting Standards and Czech accounting legislation. The objective of this thesis is to identify important differences in field of fixed assets and provisions accounting and to assess how the application of IFRS influences the productivity image of particular corporation. In terms of practical part of this thesis it is assessed whether the convergence of Czech accounting legislation to IFRS would be beneficial.

v českém jazyce Cíl práce: Autorka má za úkol v diplomové práci popsat současné využívání drilu při výuce anglického jazyka a zhodnotit recepci drilu v jazykové škole, která má dril jako hlavní nástroj výuky. Dril je tradiční technika, která prošla největším rozvojem v době audio-lingvní metody a postupně, v období komunikativních přístupů k výuce, ztrácela na popularitě. Dril však zdaleka není zapomenut, setkáváme se s ním jak v některých nových učebnicích, tak v jazykových učebnách. V teoretické části je dril definován a budou popsány jeho podoby. Dále je nastíněno využití drilu v různých metodách a budou popsány důvody, které vedly k jeho úpadku. Teoretická část: Práce si klade za cíl odpovědět na řadu otázek: Proč učitelé využívají dril? Jaká jsou úskalí? A co naopak vyhovuje studentům? Proč se někteří hlásí do jazykové školy, kde se vyučuje téměř výhradně drilem a jaké jsou jejich výsledky a zkušenosti? Praktická část: Autorka popisuje vlastní výzkum, který je založen na dotazníkovém šetření v jazykové škole využívající dril jako hlavní techniku. Následně autorka popíše, jakou roli hraje dril v moderních učebnicích, jaké tam má podoby a jaká jej provázejí metodická doporučení. Závěr: V závěru autorka vyhodnocuje, je-li z dnešního pohledu dril platnou technikou a jakými pravidly by se měli...in English Aim of the thesis: The aim of this diploma thesis is to define the term drill and depict its current use within the English lesson and also assess its role within the language school, where drill is used as a primary teaching technique. Drill is a technique which went through its greatest development when the Audiolingual method became widespread but gradually, throughout the time of the Communicative approach, it began to lose popularity. Despite this, the drill has not been completely forgotten. Not only can we see drill exercises in modern textbooks, but we also encounter drill in the classroom. Drill has been defined in the theoretical section, where its forms have also been described. In addition, the use of drill in various different methods has been further elaborated on and the reasons that led to its downfall. The analysis is aimed at identification of specific kinds and forms of tourism which are the most abundant and popular in the region. Measures for improvement of existing deficiencies and solutions for innovations of tourism are also proposed

Exploitation of Natural Resources of the Seabed as the Common Heritage of Mankind

The goal of this thesis is to evaluate the current and possible future developments in the exploitation of natural resources of the seabed beyond national jurisdiction. In the first chapter the term of international space is defined, while the second part approaches the historical development of international law in relation to the seabed. The second chapter deals with the concept of the common heritage of mankind, at first it shows its historical evolution, then this term is explained and the last part of the chapter is devoted to the common heritage of mankind as a principle of international law. The last chapter focuses on the use of resources of the seabed. In the first part seabed legislation is discussed. The second part explains the concepts of prospecting, exploration and mining.
